The island of Menorca has two focal points which are Mahón in the east and Ciutadella in the west. Both areas date back to the 18th century and this is reflected in their architecture. They’re well connected and are hotspots for history enthusiasts and delicious eateries.
The resort of Cala Galdana lays claim to Menorca’s best-looking beach and with its shallow waters, sheer limestone cliffs and cashmere-soft white sands, it is no surprise that it attracts many single travellers to its shores. Often compared to a Caribbean island, there are beach bars, watersports and an extensive promenade running along the back of the beach. If you fancy a spot of snorkelling, walk along the cliffs to Cala Mitjana where you will find first-class marine life and the perfect conditions for snorkelling!
