Located in the south-western part of Bulgaria, Rila National Park has rugged alpine beauty, largely protected by UNESCO. Based in the mountain resort of Borovets, our included walks boast the best views and unique flora and fauna of the region. However it is important to remember that as we are in a mountainous area, some of the terrain can occasionally be rough, with some significant ascents and descents at medium to high altitudes (possible max. 2,925m).
