Let time stand still for a moment. Take a few days’ break to the delightful corner of south-east Kent and the seaside town of Hythe, plus enjoy a day trip to the historical city of Canterbury.

The market town of Hythe is located on the ‘Garden Coast’ in Kent, with a broad bay and wide promenade for pleasant beachside strolls. St. Leonard’s Church stands above the town like a small cathedral, while restaurants, antique dealers and charming shops dot the High Street. Hythe is also famous for being a stop on a rather unusual railway. The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch line is the world’s smallest public railway, using one-third full size steam engines dating from the 1920’s along 13½ miles of the Kent coast.
