Dorset and the New Forest offer breathtaking scenery for our rambling weekends in the south of England, along the stunning heritage coastline and inland through ancient woodlands.

Our two guided walks explore these two very different areas from our base in the centre of Bournemouth. We commence our first walk along the South West Coast Path from Shell Bay, reached by a ferry crossing from Sandbanks. Here there are beautiful sand dunes and the intriguing remains of Fort Henry, constructed during World War II, when the beach was used for D-Day landing practice.

After lunch at a local pub (not included), the walk continues up to Old Harry Rocks and Handfast Point. After the initial climb, the path opens up, giving excellent views of Studland Bay and the Needles on the...
