Night and day, Kyrenia’s harbour is like a tale of two cities where the contrasts are, well, night and day.

Sandwiched between the sea and the Besparmak Mountains (known as the Five Fingers Range), the town can trace back its DNA some 6,000 years.

Today, terraced cafés, beachwear boutiques and local markets stacked with the local catch vie for your attention next to boats bobbing on the water and the majestic castle. A quiet place to enjoy a cooling beer by day, the harbour dons its party gear when the sun shuffles over the horizon.

Mellow to the Music
Clubs and mixing decks may be few and far between, but a compilation of different sounds will pull you this way and that. Everything from classical violins to live Turkish bands.
