National Park Krka & Sibenik
We will take a guided tour of
the Krka National Park. Named
after the Krka River, the Park
covers an area of just 142 square
km, but has some spectacular
scenery, including the magnificent
Skrandinski Buk waterfalls.
After lunch, we continue to the
beautiful ancient city of Sibenik,
which sits in a glorious setting a
wide bay at the mouth of the river
Krka. Here we will visit the town’s
stunning Old Town, as well as the
beautiful Cathedral of St James, a
Unesco World Heritage site which
sits just underneath the fortress
walls of the town.
Split & Trogir
Stunning Split is one of the oldest
cities in Croatia and our guided
walking tour of this amazing city
will take us through the journey
of its history with a visit to the
Palace & cellars. We then head
to Trogir for lunch, after which
we will enjoy our guided walking
tour of this historic town which
sits on a small island between the
Croatian mainland and the island
We hop on board a boat along the
spectacular Cetina River before
we get off at Omis to learn how
to make the famous Dalmatian
delicacy “soparnik”. We will learn
how it is prepared, cooked and
served, before we put on our
aprons to have a go ourselves,
with a tasting of the final product
accompanied by a local aperitif
(grappa). We will then enjoy a
traditional lunch, before heading
back to the hotel.
