Explore Belgrade, the capital of Serbia
Centrally located hotel
Serbia is a magical country to visit at any time of the year. Join us on our city break to Belgrade, where you can experience Serbia’s capital city on walking tour taking in many of the highlights this emerging city has to offer and all in the company of your fellow Solos travellers!
After arriving in Belgrade we will transfer to our centrally located hotel where following check in we will join together and enjoy our first evening together having dinner in a local restaurant.
After breakfast at our hotel we will start our half day walking tour of Belgrade and see iconic places such as the House of Parliament, Nikola Pasic square, Republic square, National Theatre, National Museum, main pedestrian zone – Knez Mihajlo street, Princess Ljubica castle, Belgrade Cathedral and Kalemegdan fortress and park.
Following the guided walking tour you will have the rest of the day at leisure to wander the pedestrianised streets around our hotel. The Republic Square is 200 yards from Envoy Hotel. Just around the corner you will find the shopping street of Knez Mihailova, and if you follow it to Kalemegdan Park, you can visit the Belgrade Fortress or the Zoo!
Today we will have the option to further explore the city centre of Belgrade or book an optional full day excursion to Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci (cost from €85.00).
Novi Sad may be the second largest city in Serbia, but is a very different city compared to Belgrade, one with a different history and a different architecture. The walking tour through the center of Novi Sad takes in the following sights: the National Theater, City Hall, Catholic Church, Gathering Church and Bishop’s Court, Matica Srpska and Pasiceva. The guided walk ends with lunch in a local city centre restaurant.
Following lunch we depart to Sremski Karlovci : one of the most important cities in the Serbian cultural history. During a pleasant stroll we will see the Patriarchy Residence, Karlovci Grammar School – first grammar school in Serbia, Fontan For Lions, the Orthodox church and Catholic cathedral.
After breakfast at the hotel we will transfer to Belgrade Airport for our flight home.
Located in the iconic Čika Ljubina street, a stone’s throw away from the central Republic Square, our hotel is the perfect central base upon which to export Belgrade on foot.
Facilities at the hotel include a bar and restaurant and WIFI is available throughout.
Our comfortable rooms all include television, air conditioning, safety deposit box, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.
The transfer time from Belgrade Airport to our hotel is approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Please note
A reasonable level of fitness/mobility is required
We suggest a Group Collection to cover guides, transfer drivers, and hotel staff of €15.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % to add on.
