The Aronda House is exclusive to Solos
Situated in the centre of the resort of Dassia
Situated a short walk to the beach
Friendly, family run property
We are excited to welcome you back to the Aronda House in Corfu for summer 2021! Situated in lovely Dassia, one of the most popular resorts on the east coast of the island, the Aronda House is, as always, exclusive to Solos guests. The Korakiitis family have worked tirelessly to ensure the environment is safe in this brave new world.
This residence is run by the Korakinitis family and is ideally located in the heart of Dassia and just minutes from the Blue Flag, award-winning shingle and pebbly Dassia Beach. This beach turns sandy as soon as you step into the clear shallow waters. Life is unhurried here; watch the world go by as you sip on a refreshing drink in one of the excellent waterfront tavernas and bars. Sun loungers and beach umbrellas are lined up for hire across the beach, and for the more active, there is a selection of watersports and boat rentals that we can enjoy. As the sun goes down, there is a relaxed feel, with a host of tavernas offering a range of cuisines from traditional Greek to international. There are a plenty of bars that open late into the night, and even a few nightclubs if you are looking for a livelier night out! Naturally we have now taken further steps to ensure your safety including a daily deep cleaning programme.
We all dine together on our three included group Greek evenings, one of which is the fantastic BBQ night. The Aronda House has a taverna in the garden overlooking the pool, Kiki and her family host the evening, preparing delicious food for everyone. The rest of the week, we have the option to head out or continue to dine at the Aronda House. There is a selection of restaurants only a short walk away or you can get to Corfu Town by taxi in 30 minutes.
Our charming family run property is exclusive to ClubSolos guests and offers an uncrowded environment that we can relax and enjoy with the other ClubSolos guests at a safe distance but still in their great company. Gregory, Kiki and their lovely family will give us their undivided attention. Enjoy lazy days in a sun lounger by the pool with plenty of refreshment from the pool bar, which is also open to the public. Pamper yourself with a massage from the in-house therapy room by therapist Spyridon Balis, he offers a range of treatments including Aromatherapy Massage to Foot Reflexology, at an additional cost.
Away from the beach and swimming pool, Corfu has so much to offer. Corfu Town lies in a stunning setting on the Ionian Sea. Take in a slice of history at the beautiful Palace of the Saints George & Michael, which housed in the early 19th century, the British government. Or just wander to your heart’s content through the maze of streets in the old town where there are shops and bars galore. In the green hills in the hinterland we will find the traditional village of Kato Korakiana. Here we have a chance to get an insight into the Greek way of life. There is also an option to take a horseback ride through the endless olive groves. We will also find a branch of the National Gallery and a handful of genuine Corfiot tavernas and restaurants offering food from gyros to gourmet.
Our cosy property is surrounded by a lush garden. The location allows convenient access to Dassia Beach as well as a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants.

Transfer time from Corfu airport to Aronda House is approximately 30 minutes.
You may wish to take an optional excursion during the course of your stay. Full details will be given at the Information Meeting. The prices quoted, are a guideline only, as these can vary, depending on numbers etc. All tours should be paid for in Euros and only payable by cash. Credit cards are not accepted. The exact amount will be given at your Information Meeting. Your Tour Leader will help arrange these for you but may not necessarily accompany you.
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below.
Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of €15.00 per week. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate amount to add on.
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no shorts or vests in the restaurants in the evenings. Early and late season evenings can be cool so do ensure that you take a cardigan or jacket and even some rainwear – particularly in May and June when you may experience some spring thunderstorms follow
