La Belle de Cadix

Built in 2005 and refurbished in 2010, La Belle de Cadix is a Belgian-built vessel that's perfect for first timer cruisers or those more sensitive to motion. Well suited to travellers who prefer a comfortable, calm and sociable cruising experience, the ship's friendly atmosphere is complemented by its excellent on-board facilities.

Cruising La Belle de Cadix

Built in 2005 and refurbished in 2010, La Belle de Cadix is dedicated to the Guadalquivir River, Gulf of Cadiz and sometimes the Guadiana River. The Belgian-built vessel is capable of navigating ocean waves within a few miles of the coast in order to reach Atlantic ports just beyond the Guadalquivir River's mouth. That dual capability makes for an especially sturdy river cruise through Andalusia with its calm waters -- and therefore makes an ideal cruise for first timers and passengers more sensitive to motion.

Cabins

All cabins are located above the water level and offer panoramic views of the landscape thanks to large windows or portholes (depending on the boat or deck.) They are all equipped with toilet, shower and washbasin. Towels, shower gel and shampoo are provided. They have many amenities: flat screen television, hairdryer, safe and plenty of storage space. Depending on the the ship, the cabins have 2 twin beds, a large bed or 2 separable beds. The voltage on board is 220 V. The cabins are air conditioned and have a thermostat to adjust the temperature of heating and air conditioning. The size and the configuration of the cabins vary according to the ship. Some boats have cabins specifically equipped for people with reduced mobility.

Facilities

MS La Belle de Cadix enjoys a lively and friendly atmosphere, complimented by excellent on-board facilities – enjoy views from the sun deck as you stretch out in a deck chair, relax in the panoramic lounge and show off your moves on the dance floor. There's also the more intimate Pianorama bar which overlooks the ship's stern and a small shop.
