Arrive at Seville airport and transfer to our hotel for the week
We discover all the landscapes of Doñana, one of the most important naturally protected space in Europe. We enjoy a 4×4 ride through all the habitats of the national park, from the 33 km long wild beach ending at the Guadalquivir, the mouth to the woodlands housing umbrella pine and cork trees and Mediterranean shrublands and wetlands plus the biggest mobile dunes complex in Europe! We then visit charming El Rocio, a village famous for its annual pilgrimages and residing on the edge of the wetlands, it has a real ‘wild-west’ feel and the sandy streets are designed for horse and cart rather than car!
Today we go biking – first past the wetlands and then through coastal woodlands, both of which are home to a huge variety of wildlife. After a stop for lunch we will then take the ferry over to La Felche de El Rompido – a wonderful stretch of beach where we can relax, admire the wonderful sand dunes and maybe even spot a resident chameleon.
2 hours bike ride (12km, including bicycle hire and helmets)
Today is a day at leisure. Perhaps stay and relax around the hotel and discover the local area or take an excursion to the Columbus Museum and the Monastery of La Rabida approx €40
Gliding along the peaceful waters of the marshlands paddling on our kayak adventure we can seek out the native wildlife of the area, if we’re lucky we may spot flamingos or a Montagu’s harrier, both of which call the Isla Cristina Marshlands home. Later we visit a traditional fishing harbour and a traditional salt pan, where we can learn more about the special relationship between the salt pan workers, sea and the sun.
3 hour kayaking trip (including kayak hire/paddles/life vests)
Today is a day at leisure. Perhaps stay and relax around the hotel and discover the local area or take an excursion to Moguer and its bodega for a little wine-tasting. approx €40
We drive to the mountain range of Aracena and spend the morning hiking through the forest where the black Iberian pigs feed and produce some of the best ham in the world! In the afternoon we marvel at the magnificent Cave of Wonders, an awe-inspiring network of limestone caves before returning to our hotel.

What to Wear/Equipment
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers, and hotel staff of €25 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % add on.
