The glittering Adriatic Riviera has been Italy’s favourite beach destination for decades. Join us on our classically Italian Sun holiday, where we’ll stay at the charming seaside town of Viserba. With the lively resort of Rimini not too far away, we can explore the town’s vibrant nightlife, a handful of Roman remains and famously long coastline in full.
Over the last few years the traditional seaside resort of Viserba has slowly won over the public as one of the “go to” beach resorts in the Adriatic with its charming beach. When you’re not basking on the beach, stroll along the town’s tree-lined streets, where shops, bars and restaurants present the opportunity to stop for an ice-cream or coffee.
Should you fancy a change of scenery or a different beach to sink your toes into, the coastal resort of Rimini is just 4km from the historic centre. Home to scores of bars and 15km of golden sand swashed by the Adriatic Sea, Rimini caters to anyone looking for a livelier seaside break in the sun. The city has a small historic centre too, studded with several Roman remains, which is well worth exploring on your day off from the beach.
The waters surrounding Rimini are rich in fish; fishing boats leave the port every morning and return home with everything from anchovies, mantis shrimp and mullets to plaice, cod, mackerel and cuttlefish, which you can find in the local fish markets and restaurants.
With its location right on the beachfront in Viserba, our hotel family run hotel is the perfect pace for our holiday in Rimini.
Facilities at our hotel include a restaurant, bar, TV room, terrace overlooking the sea and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
The charming bedrooms all feature air-conditioning, satellite TV and minibar (additional cost)

Optional excursions which may be available to you depending on the time of year and the numbers interested. Full details of all the excursions available will be advised at the Information Meeting. Prices may vary, depending on numbers etc and are only a guideline. All tours should be paid for in Euros. The exact amount will be given at your Information Meeting. Your Tour Leader will help arrange these for you but may not necessarily accompany you.
The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual.
We suggest a group collection at the end of your holiday to cover drivers, guides, porters and hotel staff (including restaurant, kitchen and reception staff) of approximately €25 (or the equivalent amount in local currency). Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of bar staff and housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (the rounding up of the drinks bill and a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated).
As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, restaurants expect a 10% gratuity (do check that service has not already been added to your bill). For taxis 10 of the metered fare.
Casual daytime wear is recommended. Comfortable shoes are a “must” for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evenings – the emphasis throughout being informality
