Our hotel’s beachfront location puts you in arm’s reach of the sandy Belcekiz beach and the famous Blue Lagoon – named so for its irresistible turquoise waters. We are also in a good position to take part in the various beach-based activities on offer there, and to sample the range of shops, bars and restaurants that sit on our doorstep. 

Oyster Residences

In the easy-going resort town of Ölüdeniz, our boutique style 4-star hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Decorated with nature in mind and kitted out with everything you need to relax and completely unwind, Oyster Residences provides the perfect base from which to explore the local area – while at the same time making it extremely difficult to leave! Take a dip in the pool, surrounded by olive trees and grape vines; lie back in a hammock; or sip a refreshing drink in the poolside bar and terrace.

The ambience here is laid-back, giving you a quiet and peaceful space to recharge before hitting the town at sundown. Each room is personally decorated by the hotel owner, who is also an interior designer, and all rooms have many personal touches and view of the garden and pool area below.

Out and About

The crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon is a must-see area of the national park and the sandy beaches play host to water-based activities for the more energetic amongst us. Whilst the picturesque harbour town of Fethiye is only a short taxi ride away. By day this ancient Lycian settlement is waiting to be explored with its historical sites including Fethiye Old Town and the Rock Tombs so we'll need to keep our cameras handy! The labyrinth of shop-lined streets in the old quarter offers a fascinating experience for anyone with an eye for a bargain and the fish market an experience not to be missed.

Visa Information
British citizens need a visa to travel to Turkey. You can apply for a visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr before you go. It currently costs US$20, payable by VISA/Mastercard debit or credit card only.

Transfer Time
Transfer time from Dalaman airport to Oyster Residences is approximately 60 minutes.

More to Explore
You may wish to take an optional excursion during the course of your stay. Full details will be given at the Information Meeting. All tours can be paid for in sterling currency and preferably in cash only. Your Tour Leader will help arrange these for you but may not necessarily accompany you.

Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below.

Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of €15.00 per week. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate add on.

Dress Code
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no shorts or vests in the restaurants in the evenings. Early and late season evenings can be cool so do ensure that you take a cardigan or jacket and even some rainwear
