Famed for its role in the iconic film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, the beautiful island of Kefalonia has become a firm favourite with our Solos community. Our ClubSolos trip on the east of Kefalonia uncovers the true Greek culture of this island, offering unrivalled sea views and is only a short distance from authentic bars and restaurants all dotted around a quaint Greek harbour.
Take a trip to the neighbouring island of Ithaca, it is an unspoilt hiking paradise with its rugged vegetation – only shy mountain goats interrupt the silence! The island is famous for the setting of The Odyssey by poet Homer and is somewhere every solo traveller should visit at least once in their lifetime and follow in the footsteps of this epic story.
