Desert Landscapes
Jordan is full of biblical heritage, ancient sites and home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World– Petra, making this a once in a lifetime trip! This ancient Nabataean city is a jewel in the heart of Jordan’s architecture. Jordan is every solo traveller’s aspiration, with lively modern cities that rub shoulders with ancient streets, crusader castles and vast deserts, all in a hot Mediterranean climate.
Whilst Jordan has a beautiful desert landscape, it has one of the smallest slices of coastline in the world, at only 16 miles. It is mostly landlocked, except for its southern extremity where these 16 miles of shore provide access to the Dead Sea.
