Extras
As soon as we step onto the beach, we can see why it is known as one of the best in the world. With unspoilt white sand, coconut trees and mangroves, it truly is paradise. Palm-thatched umbrellas and sun loungers are dotted around for soaking up some Caribbean sun. For those who fancy a little adventure, non-motorised water sports such as snorkelling are available. The most important decision we will have to make each day will be if we wish to spend the day on the beach or relaxing by the swimming pool.
All-inclusive 24/7.
Tempting as it may be to laze by the pool (or on the beach), why not get out and about to discover what else the island has to offer. A private tour of Saona Island is included, where we’ll take a catamaran cruise to this tropical paradise island and enjoy the chance to swim with starfish in the turquoise blue waters.
If you prefer local shopping, the hotel has a taxi rank within the grounds and there is a choice of shopping malls both within 30 minutes of the hotel.
The five-star Adults Only Punta Cana Princess Resort is located in one of the regions renowned for the incomparable beauty of its scenery, the superior quality of the sand, and the crystal-clear waters of the famous Bavaro beach, a genuine paradise in the Caribbean.

Historical Santo Domingo Day Trip Currently USD95.00
Visit the oldest city of the New World where Christopher Columbus made his first permanent settlement after his discovery of the Americas more than 500 years ago! A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1992 and home to the first cathedral, paved street, university, hospital & tavern on this continent. Soak up this extraordinary rich history, on a walking tour through its atmospheric streets and squares. Visit the beautiful and important Cathedral of Santa Maria La Menor, the Alcázar home of Columbus’ son Diego, Calle las Damas, and a selection of the other most notable colonial monuments. You will also have panoramic view of the enormous Christopher Columbus Lighthouse, the city downtown areas, and the impressive Presidential Palace. There is time for shopping too, at a colorful souvenir market. A tasty, and typical Dominican style lunch is included in a local restaurant. Long pants and sleeves are mandatory to enter the cathedral. Duration: 12 hours
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day and of course swimwear! Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no shorts or vests in the restaurants in the evenings.
The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual.
We suggest a group collection at the end of your holiday to cover drivers, guides, porters and hotel staff (including restaurant, kitchen and reception staff) of approximately £30.00 for your stay, (or the equivalent amount in local currency). Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of bar staff and housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (the rounding up of the drinks bill and a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated).
As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, restaurants expect a 10% (do check that service has not already been added to your bill). For taxis 10% the metered fare.
