Join us this New Year’s Eve for our Black Tie Ball at Delta Hotels by Marriott Northampton Hotel – exclusive to Solos guests only. Following the success of last year’s festivities, we’ve taken over the entire hotel once again to celebrate the start of 2025 in the best way possible – dressed up to the nines, eating, drinking and dancing your way into the early hours of New Year’s Day.
What’s Extra
Welcome to the Delta Hotels by Marriott Northampton Hotel for our New Year’s Eve Black Tie Ball. Check-in is from 3pm, before we join our fellow Solos guests for an afternoon cream tea including fresh scones with cream & jam served with tea & coffee.
After the afternoon’s cream tea, it’s time to get ready in our finest. We meet to enjoy the hotel’s New Year’s Eve black tie gala event. We will be welcomed with a pre-dinner drink followed by a three-course gala meal with wine. Then it’s time to party, with dancing to a disco, not forgetting the midnight toast to see in 2025!
A final delicious breakfast awaits us in the hotel restaurant before we wish each other a fond farewell.
Relax and refresh at the four-star Delta Hotels by Marriott Northampton Hotel. With modern amenities, superb service and a scenic location in the countryside, this hotel will make you feel right at home.
Our hotel offers a restaurant, bar, gymnasium and complimentary parking.
Our comfortable rooms come with air-conditioning, a TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and iron.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Northampton is just off junction 15 of the M1, and close to the A45. Northampton train station is 3 miles away. Complimentary car parking is available.
The dress code during the day is casual. New Year’s Eve will be a Black Tie event so will require appropriate formal attire.
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to cover drivers, guides and hotel staff (including restaurant, kitchen and reception staff) of approximately £15. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of bar staff and housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (the rounding up of the drinks bill and a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, restaurants expect a 10% gratuity (do check that service has not already been added to your bill). For taxis 10% of the metered fare.
