DAY 1

Arrive in Tivoli

Welcome to the Campagna Romana! After arriving at Rome Airport, we’ll proceed through immigration and collect our luggage before heading to our hotel in Tivoli for a welcome drink and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2

Guided tour of Villa D'Este and Villa Adriana

Today we visit the historic vacation homes of the Roman elite – two UNESCO-listed sites: Hadrian’s Villa and Villa d’Este. We hear about Renaissance and Ancient Roman history and scandal, admire archaeological ruins and explore some of Italy’s most extravagant private gardens. We first visit Villa d’Este – one of the most beautiful Renaissance villas in Italy. This splendid palace, with its extraordinary gardens filled with hundreds of fountains, will leave you captivated.

Later we leave the captivating masterpiece of 16th-century Italian Renaissance architecture far behind as we travel on to the alluring ruins of the 2nd Century A.D to our second destination – Villa Adriana, the most beautiful Imperial villa, designed and built by Emperor Hadrian at the beginning of the 2nd Century AD in a unique setting of gardens and swimming pools.

DAY 3

Rome City Tour

After breakfast, we board the train to Rome where our guide will take us on a half day walking tour. Throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain – an awe-inspiring Baroque masterpiece featuring a marble statue of Neptune at the centre, surrounded by tritons. We then proceed to the Piazza di Spagna, one of the most famous squares in Rome and home to the city’s fanciest boutiques on Via dei Condotti – Rome’s legendary shopping street. Gaze at the architectural marvel of the Pantheon – the burial place of Rome’s kings and other prominent figures – before finishing our tour at the magnificent, oval-shaped Piazza Navona, lined with restaurants, gelaterias and souvenir shops.

The rest of the day is free for you to explore Rome independently.

DAY 4

Day at Leisure

Today is free for you to spend however you wish.

Why not to visit famous Le Terme di Roma- Aque Albule? The waters from the Acque Albule spring are sulphurous and hypothermal. Water arrives at the spa from Lakes Regina and Colonnelle, north of Via Tiburtina, at a speed of 3,000 litres per second. The mineral water maintains a constant temperature of 23°C throughout the year.
