About the trip

The Angela Studios is welcoming new and returning Solos Exclusive guests for the Summer. Located in Alykanas, on the north-eastern coast of Zakynthos, this property is an ideal uncrowded space for our singles groups. With the beach and resort centre only a few minutes’ walk away, the Angela Studios is the perfect place to spend a week or two enjoying the Grecian summer sun with great company.

Zakynthos Solos Exclusive

Our charming, humble property is ideally located in the easy-going traditional seaside village of Alykanas and is a mere 200 metres level walk from the soft golden sands of Alykanas Beach. Surrounded by endless vineyards and olive groves, there are a few waterfront bars by the beach where we can sip on a refreshing drink or Greek cocktail as we watch the sun sink into the Ionian Sea. The beach offers a great selection of watersports, and for those who have come away to switch off,  sun loungers and beach umbrellas are lined up for hire. At the end of the beach lies the small harbour of Alykanas, where boats moor for excursions to Smugglers Cove and the Blue Caves. Each evening, you can enjoy relaxed dining experiences in resort with plenty of  bars and restaurants offering traditional Greek cuisine. For those looking for a livelier experience, there is a range of entertainment at the neighbouring resort of Alykes, which is just 1km away.

The Angela Studios - Alykanas

The Angela Studios consists of spacious studio apartments divided over three floors (upper floors accessible by a lift). Breakfast will be served each morning in the breakfast/lounge area and the rest of the day can be spent poolside with a good book and a cool drink from the honesty bar. With the freedom to stock up on your favourite drinks and snacks from the nearby supermarket – the choice is yours. Relaxation and enjoyment is the Angela Studios ethos.

Zakynthos Solos Exclusive at Night!

We have three included dinners held at a nearby taverna. For the remainder of the week, we can choose to stay in our resort or head into the capital, Zante Town, just a 25 minute drive away. Your resident Solos Tour Leader will be on hand to help with valuable local advice, whatever you decide to do.

Discover Zakynthos

If you are looking for a day or two away from the sun loungers, you will find that Zakynthos has much more to offer than its beautiful beaches. The capital, Zakynthos Town, once known as ‘Venice of the South’, is a must see. Here, we can spend the day exploring its ancient churches and museums such as the St Denis Church or Church of Saint Dionissios, which is dedicated to the patron Saint on Zakynthos. Alternatively, spend a relaxing day by boat sailing down the island’s stunning coastline, passing glorious beaches including Navagio Beach or Shipwreck Beach! If you are feeling more adventurous, why not book a guided or self-guided hike and experience the beauty of Zakynthos on foot.

The Angela Studios

Our small, simple and friendly family owned property is ideally located in a quiet corner of Alykanas, surrounded by pine and olive trees and just minutes from the sandy beach. There are a number of bars, restaurants, convenience shops and a supermarket all located close-by.

Facilities Include

Facilities include a private outdoor swimming pool with loungers and umbrellas and a poolside changing room with toilet and shower. Breakfast and lounge area, honesty bar and common outdoor gardens complete this lovely property.

Room Includes

Our pleasant rooms feature Air Conditioning (payable locally) a kitchenette with fridge and safety deposit box. The sleeping area is equipped with an LCD TV and a private balcony furnished with a small table and chairs. A number of hairdryers are available to hire (with an additional charge approx €10, payable locally) Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
