Set in the grounds of a 13th century estate, steeped in history, Breadsall Priory dates back to 1266. As you drive down the majestic mile-long approach to the hotel you are surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside which sets the backdrop for you weekend of golf. Our golfing break includes 2 rounds of golf on two superb golf courses with the added advantage of having time to visit and relax in the Priory Retreat Spa and enjoy the hotels facilities. If you wish to keep to the golfing theme you can hone your skills at the driving range and putting green.
Golf Schedule 1 x Moorland Course / 1 x Priory Course
18 holes, 6,054 yards, Par 70
Differing in style to the Priory course , the popular Moorland course gives us fantastic views to rival the Priory and offers a great variety of golf with tight fairways surrounded by mature woodlands. The featured 12th hole is a 406 yard, Par 4 with tall trees guarding the landing areas centre.
Starting Tee Time : 12.10pm June 21 /10:30am October 21
18 holes, 6,100 yards Par 70
This championship golf course is said to be the more challenging of the two courses here at the Breadsall Priory Golf Club. The course winds through undulating parkland and requires accurate play to negotiate the tree-lined fairways and fast sloping greens to keep the round interesting while enjoying the spectacular views. The featured hole is the 17th 183 yard, Par 3 with its elevated tee to a generous green guarded by bunkers and a ditch to the rear.
Starting Tee Time : 11.00am June 21 / 10:30am October 21

Golf Club Insurance Clients will most probably find that their golf clubs are covered on their household insurance policy. Most policies cover a single item such as golf clubs for a period out of the country. However, clients should make very sure that they do have cover. Buggy, Trolley & Club HireMost golf clubs have these items available for hire, however this is not always the case, so clients would be advised to check with us beforehand if they have any specific requirements. Golf buggy - £40 per roundGolf Footwear Golf shoes with soft spikes are required. What to WearGolf attire during the day. We suggest smart casual for the evenings. GratuitiesThere is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to cover restaurant, kitchen and reception staff of approximately £5. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of bar staff and housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (the rounding up of the drinks bill and a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, restaurants expect a 10% gratuity (do check that service has not already been added to your bill).
