Only round the bay from Croatia, Montenegro is a popular destination to twin-centre with its neighbour.
Montenegro is home to the oldest olive tree in the world! At over 2,000 years old, the tree is a magnificent attraction in the southern area of Bar. The area is renowned for its beautiful hectares of olive groves. Part of the tree is burnt, and the legend has it that it was caused by an accidental fire triggered during a card game under the tree!
