About this trip:

We take you to the bordering countries of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands on a relaxed summer sail. You’ll first be able to take an optional tour to Bruges from Zeebruggein Belgium, a UNESCO listed city packed with deep-rooted history, pretty canals and cosy market squares. An optional tour from Bremerhaven to the cultural hub of Bremen in Northern Germany also awaits; the setting of the ‘Town Musicians of Bremen’ fairy tale. An overnight stay in Amsterdam introduces you to the capital’s vibrant cafés and elaborate canal system.

DAY 1

London Tilbury, UK – Depart 18:00

Embark MV Ambience and enjoy our first night on board with a wonderful meal and dazzling entertainment. Note: In the event of adverse weather/sea conditions that prevent the ship from calling at one of the scheduled ports, alternative arrangements will be made where possible.
DAY 2

Zeebrugge, for Bruges (Belgium) 0800-1700

Zeebrugge is a Belgian port and seaside resort. It’s linked to the city of Bruges by the Baudouin Canal. The old fish market in the marina houses Seafront, a theme park focusing on the local seafaring and fishing heritage. In nearby Knokke-Heist, the For Freedom Museum evokes the area’s WWII history through dioramas. West along the coast are the De Fonteintjes wetland and dunes

DAY 3

Bremerhaven (Germany) 1300-2100

Bremerhaven is a port city on Germany’s North Sea coast. The German Maritime Museum at the Old Harbor details the national and regional history of shipping and navigation. Its collection includes the Bremen cog, a restored medieval vessel. Nearby, the WWII submarine Wilhelm Bauer has been converted into a museum. The German Emigration Center is dedicated to the history of those who left Bremerhaven for America.

Amsterdam (Netherlands) Arrive 1730

Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands. With its famously scenic canals, rich history and iconic cultural scene, Amsterdam is one of the world’s most vibrant cities. As we are docked here overnight, you have the opportunity to explore this fabulous city by night and day.

Amsterdam (Netherlands) Depart 1300

As one of the most famous cities in the world, Amsterdam is synonymous with vibrant culture, rich history, inclusiveness and beautiful canals. Since its construction in the 17th century, the Amsterdam canal ring has grown into one of the most unique urban landscapes in the world. It’s not for nothing that it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DAY 6

London Tilbury (United Kingdom) 0800

This morning we dock at London Tilbury.  After a last breakfast on board, disembark Ambience for your onward journey home.

Whether you like it shaken or stirred, she has numerous bars to whet your whistle. Dining options are plentiful at their Buckingham restaurant or the Borough Market and the glorious Alfresco Grill. Wining and dining are more than fine at Saffron*, Sea & Grass* or our deluxe Chef’s Table*, where a speciality gastronomic experience is offered that’s not to be missed. Ambience offers the Aces & Eights bridge and card room and the Ambassador Casino, the gym and Wellness Centre,  Brontë’s library, the shopping galleria, not to mention a swimming pool, two hot tubs and a large screen for outdoor movies. Room Includes

A range of cabins span seven accommodation decks from the Aloe deck 4 up to the Ambassador deck 11. The cabins are more spacious to cater to today’s climate, averaging 17-18 square meters. All cabins are air-conditioned with en-suite facilities including a shower and ample storage space with room under the beds to store suitcases. Most of cabins can be converted to a double bed. All cabins have a tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge,  hair dryer, personal safe, UK three pin electrical sockets and USB ports. There is also a flat screen TV (please note, TV reception is subject to weather conditions and the geographic location of the ship).
